And then…

(hŏm’ə-lē) Pronunciation Key
- A sermon, especially one intended to edify a congregation on a practical matter and not intended to be a theological discourse.
- A tedious moralizing lecture or admonition.
- An inspirational saying or platitude.
So, as I listen to political debate of the day, I hear these constant moralizing lectures that are attacks on a person rather than on the subject at hand. And then there are the non-debates, where people just spout slogans that don’t have any meaning…
