Who can argue with the Shelby Cobra?  Carroll Shelby took sports cars to a new level of nastiness with the Cobra.  The 260 was a bit disgruntled.  The 289 Cobra was aggressive.  The 427 was downright mean.  The 427C… Competition… was postal.

Take a light 4 cylinder sports cars… beef it up and drop a seriously nasty engine in it.  Forget gas mileage.  Forget noise, vibration and harshess…  Don’t even worry about aerodynamics.  Just go fast.  The wind buffeting at 100mph from the air coming around the windscreen can make your ears bleed.  But who cares?
