101 Cars, Part 16… Ugly Video Sunday
Ok, it should be fairly obvious that I like vehicles with few social graces. I like the ones that eat too fast, make loud slurpy sounds and fail to look pretty sitting there. Pretty models are nice, but ugly and rude can have its place… If ugly and rude is needed to get the job done… or gets the job done better. And in this case, having pretty parents didn’t make for a pretty off-spring, but one that performs.
So, as you are looking for a new $100,000, 6 ton truck and you need to blow snow, plow fields and have massive amounts of ground clearance… or you need to transport Swiss military troops… You can pick up used ones for under $10k as well.
Of course the only vehicle I can be talking about is the Unimog. It stands for Universal Motor Device (or Machince), and it was designed after World War II to be a medium duty, multi-role capable vehicle for doing everything from plowing roads to plowing fields and then taking the produce to market. It is one of the toughest brands in the world.

Lane’s New Video Channel
I have just struck a deal with The Video Connector to provide video content for my sites. Look for lots of cool videos from Tara and TJ from Reel Productions. They have been the providers of my video tours for a couple of years now, and really have a handle on the real estate market. Enjoy.
