Imagine cars that were front wheel drive. Imagine stylists hiding the headlights by making them retractable. Imagine hidden gas doors. Supercharged engines for more power without more weight. Aerodynamics. In 1936.
The 1937 Cord 810 and 812 had all of these things… and an exotic look. And while beauty is in the eye of the beholder, these cars are considered to be among the most beautiful ever built. So innovation, beauty and performance.
Obviously this would have to be a car I would love to drive.
