101 Cars, Part 46
Sometimes even the most mundane car can be made incredibly exciting. And I think that one of the most mundane cars made was the Buick Regal. They have been popular… but never really performance machines.
Except for two… The first one was the Buick Grand National. Not much more can be said aside from it being bad ass. The 3.8 L Turbo V-6 put out some nice power for the day… In 1984, 200hp was pretty good.
But, to celebrate the final year of production, 1987, the ante got upped… The GNX. It put out 275hp, although several magazines tested it with much more power. Many changes were made to the GNX from a mere mortal Regal. Aside from the obvious engine, there was a ladder bar and a other suspension changes. And they were all black. Menacingly black.
And for just $29,000, you could have one, too… if you made the list… only 547 were made. Some sources say that the FBI bought 200 of those 547.

Lane’s New Video Channel
I have just struck a deal with The Video Connector to provide video content for my sites. Look for lots of cool videos from Tara and TJ from Reel Productions. They have been the providers of my video tours for a couple of years now, and really have a handle on the real estate market. Enjoy.
