The 2009 World Rally Championship is over… and the 2010 World Rally Championship will begin in about a month.

I am a GIANT fan of WRC.  It is a most amazing sport.  The drivers exhibit deft skills, negotiating surfaces ranging from snow to gravel to asphalt.  They race in such far flung places as Sweden, Mexico, Japan and Jordan.

Sideways is the WRC version of fast.  There may be walls, trees or 1000 foot cliffs at the edge of the road.  But the intrepid drivers press on, threading the needle…
