Last year I wrote a post about the things that your builder apparently forgot to put into your garage. After last Wednesday’s post about making the garage cooler, I thought this might be the right one to follow up with.
A couple of these would be almost free if incorporated into the design of the home. A couple of the others would cost builders a little bit, but would be great opportunities for them to offer upgrades for a little better profit… and likely be the only local builder offering garage specific upgrades.

- 240V outlets
- Cabinetry
- Improved lighting
- A sink
- HVAC
- Compressed air lines
I know that a couple of them are only likely to show up in my dreams, but a couple of the others would be so easy… and add so much value for auto enthusiasts… maybe even a good bit of value for other home owners as well.
