  I know what you are saying, but damaging the credit of a buyer isn’t the solution, either. Perhaps requiring the pre-qual AFTER the offer is accepted… perhaps in 2 business days… means that there wouldn’t be unnecessary credit pulls for the buyer.

  Remember, the buyer has earnest money in the game, so if the sale fails late in the game, they are losing something, too.
