Wayback Wednesday… Increasing Value
Of my more popular posts, those dealing with ways to increase home values have been near the top. And being a Garage Guy, the posts I’ve written about increasing home value by making a cooler garage have done quite well, too. I get a lot of searches for cool garages and cool garage stuff… as well as making a better garage.
NASCAR and Bobsledding
In 1992, Geoff Bodine was a stock car racing good ol’ boy (albeit, one from New York). He was knee deep in being one of the best NASCAR drivers of all time. In fact, he hold a Guiness Record for the most wins by a racer in one season… 55 Modified wins.
Improvements nobody thinks of…
It is pretty common knowledge that kitchens and master bathrooms make or break the appeal for a home on the market. Get those two areas right can land a buyer that might otherwise pick another home.
Staging with Storage
One of the things that is challenging for families selling homes is dealing with toys and other things that clutter up the house. We still have to live in the home, but we also need to make it attractive for buyers. In the video are some great tips for accomplishing both goals.
We can even do this in the garage… same idea, we still need to be able to work on the toys, but we need to keep it neat and presentable.

We don’t have a million readers (yet), but would love to be able to open up my blogs to local (or in some cases, not-so-local) businesses to “Guest Post” on LaneBailey.com, LilburnDwellings.com or GarageHomesUSA.com.
