Tonight was the last game of the 2008-2009 Atlanta Thrashers season. It was plenty of fun to watch the Thrashers beat the Lightning 6-2… And it most likely also marked our last game as Season Ticket holders.
Gail and I bought Season Tickets back in 2001, with the help of some of our friends, as a wedding present to each other. But, with the softness of the real estate market… it really doesn’t look like we’ll be renewing.
It sure has been a blast. We were there for Kovalchuk’s first NHL Hat Trick at home. We were there to watch Pasi, Kari, Odgers and Heatley. We went to the Season Ticket holders Meet and Greet events. It was great getting a moment to talk with the players, have them sign jerseys and sticks for the kids, and meet with the coaches.
We have been sitting on the aisle in the Attack Twice zone, four rows from the glass, for eight years. Garrett decided he wanted to be a goalie while we were in these seats. It has been a great run…
If you are interested in Thrashers Season Tickets, they are a lot of fun. Hockey is a fun game to watch… especially live. And sitting close enough to recognize the players is really cool. There are a lot of subtleties of the game that really start to stand out that close.
We’ve had some great ticket partners through the years… it’s been well worth it.
Thanks…
