The garages in most homes are less than spectacular. In fact, a lot of them (including mine… excuse soon) won’t even hold a car. They seem to collect all sorts of things, from Christmas decorations to sports equipment. All of that is in addition to tools, lawn equipment and the bulky stuff that won’t go elsewhere.
But, most garages are pretty close to being back into ‘show shape’. Here is a good place to start… Let’s get started.
A couple of years ago this week, I wrote about a (then) new marketing move I had been seeing. Both new home developers and owners of existing homes were offering free cars to buyers.
This weekend is the Corona Rally Mexico. If you aren’t familiar with World Rally Championship, and you are a car person, you are missing the boat. It is an incredible form of motorsport… Dirt, gravel, snow, asphalt. The cars are blindingly quick, and rather than covering the same course over and over, many of the stages are only seen once in an event.
My favorite motor sport is World Rally Championship (WRC). It is the motocross of auto racing. It is truly 3 dimensional, as the cars can get significant air time in addition to turning left and right.
In 1992, Geoff Bodine was a stock car racing good ol’ boy (albeit, one from New York). He was knee deep in being one of the best NASCAR drivers of all time. In fact, he hold a Guiness Record for the most wins by a racer in one season… 55 Modified wins.
