The Tax Credit is Gone, Now What?
The Federal Tax Credits for First Time Home Buyers and Move-Up Home Buyers expired on May 1st. I am writing my market reports for several cities in Gwinnett County, as well as the one for Gwinnett County, GA. And there are a lot of theories on how the expiration of the tax credits will affect the market.
Motoring Monday… Busy Car Show Weekend…
It was a busy weekend for my family… and car shows were a major part of that. On Saturday, aside from a birthday party and baseball game for one of my boys, we visited two car shows. One of the shows was also a blood drive.
Smokerise Baptist Church Car Show – TODAY… Rain or Shine
Last year’s show was delayed a week because of weather, and it still managed to rain at various times through the day, but some very cool vehicles came out for the show. In addition to cars and trucks, there were some cool vintage motorcycles.

Lilburn Market Report – February, 2010
Market stats for Lilburn, February, 2010, indicate that there are 390 properties on the market (as of February 28th). Overall, there is about a 15 month supply of properties, with a slight acceleration in sales during October and November, but slowing in December and January, flat in February.
Another Community Improvement District Coming to Lilburn
Lilburn is already kind of home to part of the Evermore CID running along US78 between Stone Mountain and Snellville. As an area resident, some of the improvements that are directly and indirectly a result of the CID are quite obvious.
