Sunday, Mini-Vid Sunday

Sunday, Mini-Vid Sunday

Gas is $4/gallon, and Diesel is leaning on $5/gallon. 4wheeling is getting to be an even more expensive hobby. It is pretty easy to drop $50 into the tank of the trail rig, and $200 into the tow rig for a weekend. Even for the folks that don’t tow, the weekend might cost $150 or more… just for fuel.

Of course, there are also time constraints and family commitments. So, is there an alternative?

And these NyLint Scorpions are just cool. The 1:6 scale Crawlers were available from Wal-Mart, originally for $150, but then as low as $40 after they were discontinued… and that is when I got mine.

Being able to just wander out into the yard with the kid and crawl rocks for a little while, or find someplace close (5 minutes) from the house to take it makes these things a LOT of fun, and a veritable bargain. And good practice for when the Jeepster is back together.
