I have mentioned before that I have been wandering around the internet for quite a while. I was on bulletin boards before the World Wide Web became “the thing”. And I have continued to be active on web forums centered around various topics, from political debate to automotive hobbies.

I am currently suffering with a nasty cold, along with a sore throat. The only real relief I seem to get is while knocking back a cold Coke. Unfortunately, the Zero and diet products aren’t doing it… I need the leaded premium.
I try to limit myself to one (ok, two) a day.
Hopefully I’ll be back to fully gruntled in just a day or two. Thanks for bearing with me… And have a Coke… for medicinal reasons.
I had a great thought for a blog post. I was surfing some of my daily reading, and ran across an item and after a few synapses fired in my brain… unrelated post idea sprang to life. So, I jumped into my Admin Panel, ran across a particular spam comment…

The spam in question was from someone that “buys homes for cash to help home owners.” The part that is funny is
it is really good. But when it is bad it sucks…
There is a group of motorcyclists out there that are doing things on (and off… and on again) with motorcycles that have become almost unbelievable. They are freestyle motocross riders. A few short years ago, a flip was considered to be almost impossible. Wait until you see what the guys in the second video do with the short amount of air time. Think back to the first video… when time ran out.

Residents of foreclosed properties in Chicago and other parts of Cook County don’t have to worry about deputies forcing them out. Sheriff Tom Dart says that starting Thursday his office won’t take part in evictions.
