I am still a bit under the weather.
I haven’t been able to talk since Friday… although I was able to make weak croaking sounds today for brief periods.
Hopefully I’ll be back up to full blogging speed in the next day or three.

I have just started volunteering for Junior Achievement. I wanted to help out in Parkview High School or Trickum Middle School, but they don’t have partnerships with any of the teachers there. Instead, I’ll be volunteering at Norcross High School for the time being.
Junior Achievement is a great program, and it would benefit the students to have access to this type of curriculum.
If you are a teacher at Parkview High School or Trickum Middle School in Gwinnett County, or an Administrator, feel free to shoot me a message and I’ll be HAPPY to put you in touch with the right folks at JA. They would LOVE to be involved here in Lilburn.

There are a few things that need to be said up front… This is NOT my story. This is the story from someone that was on US Airways Flight #1549 when it went into the Hudson River. The story is that of a friend of a co-worker of my wife… not quite direct, but we had an email conversation before I posted this. There was NO way I was going to put this up without permission. He had emailed it to a few people… and away it went.
