The REAL Presidential race…

I am not going to interject ANY opinion in this post.  This is all about following the action.

Regardless of your red or blue affiliation, this election cycle is getting downright entertaining.  It could shape up to be a nail-biter for both camps…

It is easy to find the national polling data, but in reality, that doesn’t count.  All that counts is the Electoral vote.  I ran across a site that tracks the the polling on an electoral basis.  The map and graphic below should maintain up to date polling data.

This is a better way to wrap understand how the campaigns are going…

And a warning, if you are in a state that isn’t stongly favoring a particular candidate, look for LOTS of TV ads.  Each campaign will be looking to turn those states their color.

Sometimes doing the right thing hurts.

Everybody put your heads on the desk…

Do you remember those words from grade school?  The big kid from the back of the class shot a spitball at the teacher, and so everyone got the same punishment.  There were 29 kids in the class that didn’t do anything, but they still got the same treatment.  What’s worse is that the kid that caused the trouble didn’t suffer any more than the kids that didn’t.

Thoughts on the Foreclosure Bailout

Everyone has weighed in with their opinions about the proposed government bailout of some of the 1.2 million people facing foreclosure… I guess I’ll toss out my nickel (side thought… if everyone that has offered an opinion actually gave up the nickel, WE could bail out the people facing foreclosure…)
