How about a new car?

Lane Bailey - Thursday, 4 September 2008 10:48

Ok, I’m not going to go ut and buy a bunch of driveable cars for people…  but I am still thinking…

Since I am a bona fide car guy, what if I were to offer a free car for signing up for the email list? I’m thinking Hot Wheels here, don’t hyperventilate… I’m not Oprah… really, not even close.  I have been picking these things up for my kids for a while, and these are NOT the Hot Wheels I grew up with.  Sitting on the kitchen table is a Thunderbolt Fairlane in primer black… how cool is that?

And what about something a little bigger for a listing presentation? Again, we aren’t talking about driving away in it, just a little collectible.  Again, there are some pretty cool rides.

Is it a bribe?  Sure.  But, I have talked with a lot of agents that go around handing out pies and cakes and other yummy treats.  And I certainly like those things… but I want people to look fondly back upon my visit… and not think “Great, now I have to do 15,638 crunches to work off that choco-binge.”

Just experimenting…

What do you think?
