Looking back, I think it has been around a year and a half that I have been using Shifter for this blog.  It is a great theming system, but I have decided that I need to make a change to the design of the site.

I recently ran across a great looking magazine theme and have decided to make the change.  It is a pretty big change, so the site will be bouncing back and forth for the next few days.  Basically, while I am in the site working on it, I will be on the new theme.  The rest of the time I will leave it on the old theme.

I really am a fan of the old theme, and will probably reuse it on another website I am developing.  I have long wanted to try the ‘Portal’ settings for Shifter, but it wasn’t really right for LaneBailey.com.  Hopefully I will be able to experiment with that aspect of it on BaileyServices.
