I am launching LaneBailey.info.  I have been playing around with some of the features for a couple of weeks… off and on, mostly off… and finally decided what I was going to do with it a few days ago.

I will be posting up more personal stuff, as well as some tutorials on WordPress that I have written on Active Rain.  Currently I have around 5 or 6 of them, and they will get posted up every few days until I get caught up.

Secondarily, I will be using LaneBailey.info as a testbed for options I want to roll out on property blogs and other websites I am working on.  A primary example of this is the theme itself.  The theme allows the user to re-arrange the items in the sidebar for their convenience. It also has semi-transparent blocks, so I want to play with altering background images and layering.  Finally… for now… the theme uses images as the primary headline for posts.  The title of the post and a custom image are all that is listed for each post. I’m curious how that could be incorporated into a property blog.
