Video has been “on the horizon” for quite a while.  I know that for the last few years lots of people in the real estate industry have felt that video would be the “next big thing.”  The other technology that has been suffering the same fate is mobile.

The big difference is that video is hitting a tipping point.  So many internet users are viewing online video… it has become mainstream.  And in the real estate business, more consumers are expecting to be able to view videos of listed properties.

A couple of years ago I wrote this post about a video from Chicago.  At the time it was made, it was completely different from everything else in the market.  Now it has become more mainstream.
