… the August Market Report (covering July preliminary numbers and June final numbers) is up as well.
I will probably modify it a little more, but the main things are in place. FMLS doesn’t get numbers out until a few days into the months, but they are out and so I have had a chance to parse them, slice ’em, dice ’em and make them talk to me.
I am again using the PowerPoint format for the Market Report. It seems to deliver a little more info in a more easily digestible way.
Here is a link to the August Issue of GarageHomesUSA. Enjoy.

Active Rain, a real estate agent centered community that I blog on, is having a contest for agent promotional videos. The contest has pushed me to do something that I have been resisting… make a video.
Here it is.
I certainly intend to make more. I’ve been wanting to alter my Gwinnett County Market Reports to a friendlier format… perhaps I can utilize video to make them faster and more interesting.Anyway… Enjoy. Feel free to comment.
Also, I’d like to thank the people that helped out with this video. I won’t embarrass you by naming you… they did great, any failings are mine.
I just got back from a meeting with a local mortgage broker, Ken Cook. He let me know about a great sounding program to remedy the situation when you want to move and can’t find that perfect house… with the perfect garage. If you can find the house, he can do a loan that folds in the improvement to the garage (or renovation of the house).
