Last year I wrote about how Atlanta seems to love it’s bruisers… those hockey players that are charged with ‘protecting’ their team mates. I’ve been lucky enough to meet with a couple of them… and I’ve spent a good bit of time talking with a couple of them. They are really nice guys (note to self: stay on their good sides).

Preliminary stats for Duluth, March, 2010 indicated that there were 618 properties on the market. Overall, there is about an 14.3 month supply of properties, with a marked deceleration in Absorption Rate. However, sales in March were 59, compared to 44 a year earlier.

The Federal Tax Credits for First Time Home Buyers and Move-Up Home Buyers expired on May 1st. I am writing my market reports for several cities in Gwinnett County, as well as the one for Gwinnett County, GA. And there are a lot of theories on how the expiration of the tax credits will affect the market.

Preliminary stats for Duluth, February, 2010 indicated that there were 568 properties on the market. Overall, there is about an 13.4 month supply of properties, with a marked deceleration in sales. Sales in January were 45, compared to 48 a year earlier.
