I was talking with some of the guys Saturday night after the 4wd club meeting… and we started talking about some of the cool types of racing around the world. One that had to come up was sidecar racing… It has to be seen to be understood.

One of my real estate friends sent me a Twitter earlier today. He saw a link and thought of me… so sweet…
I love sleepers… and those are not
… but now it is about the experience.
I wrote a little last night about the car I am currently sort of wanting. And what I didn’t say was that I wandered into a local dealer to get a closer look. I have been looking at it for a few weeks… and it will take a few more before I really get behind it.
But, there are a couple
I am NOT a “Buy American” guy when it comes to cars. I’m also not a “If it is foreign, it is better” guy. Lastly, I am very much not a GM guy. In fact, looking over the bunches of vehicles I have owned, there is only one GM car, and that was a Saturn that my father left me… and that may have been the only GM car HE had (ok, he wasn’t a car guy, so it almost doesn’t count).
I love a good junk yard.
The LA Times recently had a photo essay on the findings in an Oklahoma junkyard. Phil Skinner, Editor of Kelley Blue Book’s Official Guide for Early Model Cars visited this yard and spied a few treasures.
Here is a link to the story…
I love a good junkyard… but it is sad to see some of the incredible vehicles that won’t see the road again…
