I had a Broker Open House today (some call them office caravans or just broker opens), and one of my guests was Angel Walker, a local stager. I’ve talked with Angel a few times, and she has even written a post on staging for my blog and website, and she is always a pleasure to talk with about real estate.

Incrementalism is a concept that a lot of people in the automotive hobby are familiar with… in theory, if not the word itself. So, let me give a definition…
Incrementalism refers to the practice of just changing things a little bit… over time… piece by piece.
This would be opposed to going “All In” or whole hog.

I am in the process of building a butt-kicking single property website for a home here in the Atlanta area (not ready to spill the beans quite yet on which one…). I have previously mentioned this here.
As I’ve put this together, I have been consulting with a small number of other agents around the country that are doing or planning similar campaigns. I think this is going to be a full step past most of what has been done previously… but that is another post…

if you aren’t already familiar, del.icio.us is a “Social Bookmarking” site. I ran across it last year, bookmarked it (how appropriate…) and then just kind of left it alone. At the same time I downloaded a plug-in for FireFox… and left it alone. I thought it was cool, but got sidetracked with running a business and building my website and logo.
Look for your “reassessed” valuations…

I just got back from the mailbox. Gwinnett County, in all of its wisdom, has determined that my house is worth about 12% more than last year…
Keep in mind that nearby homes have recently sold for under the price my wife and I paid for our home seven years ago. also keep in mind that the county in general has had a decrease in valuations as reflected in sale prices and median home prices.
