Do you do del.icio.us?

if you aren’t already familiar, del.icio.us is a “Social Bookmarking” site.  I ran across it last year, bookmarked it (how appropriate…) and then just kind of left it alone.  At the same time I downloaded a plug-in for FireFox… and left it alone.  I thought it was cool, but got sidetracked with running a business and building my website and logo.

Well, this week I have had to spend a lot of time working on technology plans, and one of the components of that was social networking strategies (don’t yawn yet, I’m trying to get to the good part…).

And I was doing a lot of searching and reading.  So, I took a time-out to check out some cool car stuff.  As I was surfing around on the car related sites I got to thinking…  I wish I could share all of these cool sites with my friends and the people that read my blog.  Then came the “duh” moment.

That is what del.icio.us is for.  It is so that people can share their bookmarks with their friends.  So, I will be setting up many of my bookmarks, and adding to it.  I will also be inviting people to add their favorites and the cool sites they run across.

Fret not… as soon as I am ready… in a day or four… I’ll announce it here and add del.icio.us to my blogroll.
